Welcome

Welcome to my blog! My name is Marsha (aka The Say Hey Girl) and I am really excited about sharing my journey with you through Giants baseball, food, adventure, and fitness.  It may seem random to you, but this is my life!

The 2017 SF Giants page will cover my baseball highlights throughout the season.  I’m off to a slow start because of some unexpected life changes this year. But please stay tuned! Extra Innings showcases things to see, places to visit, AND restaurant reviews, as I am a foodie at heart. Looking for some day trips or excursions?  Follow these posts for some ideas.

I am also including a page of Shout Outs, which will be tidbits that don’t fit anywhere else…like a great book or a movie review.  I have been interviewing local personalities and sharing their stories on this page. Have one that you’d like to tell?  Contact me and let’s talk!

The last category is focused on health and fitness, two things that are my priorities. A Sweat Life covers my weekly workouts in and out of the gym and maybe a few nutritional tips that I’m learning along the way as well.  What doesn’t kill me only makes me stronger, folks!

So who is The Say Hey Girl? As it states in my tagline, I am a small town girl. Really! I grew up in Walnut Grove (where the heck is that??) and went to college at UC Davis, then went to graduate school at University of the Pacific, both located in small towns. Currently, I live in a very small town in the East Bay.

Thank you for stopping by and reading. I hope that you will follow my journey…and I’d love to hear from each of you about your own passions and experiences!

Warmly,

Marsha, The Say Hey Girl
